Hannah Waddingham – Home for Christmas
An Apple TV Special
We joined Hannah for a festive sing-song of an Andy Williams festive classic at the recording of her Christmas Special.
‘Game of Thrones’ fans will recognise Hannah, as will ‘Sex Education’ and ‘Ted Lasso’ viewers. This year she won new friends amongst the Eurovision Song Contest fanbase, when she co-hosted the final in Liverpool to great acclaim. And Hannah is no stranger to the Chorus being one of our Patrons, and all round vocal supporter of the wider LGBTQ+ community.
As Hannah explains in the Attitude interview, about a year ago we were invited to be part of an Apple TV Christmas special to be aired over the 2023 festive period. Knowing Hannah well, we were more than happy to support her and take part in the show, and we jumped at the chance.
Rewind back to the hottest day of June, and following month long, mid-summer rehearsals of Christmas songs, we were lucky enough to find ourselves in The London Coliseum with a host of famous names, ready to play our part in the show finale.
The show is on Apple TV now.
But we can share you a sneak peek at our performance in the show finale with Hannah and guests, singing an Andy Williams 1963 Christmas classix.
